Hi everyone,

My school is NOT on the list and I am doing residency(IM) in New york.

- Can I get Texas license after graduation, getting another state license, taking the boards? How is the process? I read somewhere that there are additional requirements such as rotations done in specialties?

-Anyone has any experience completing Z-forms and how likely they getting accepted by Texas.

Thank you.

No huge deal.

If you look at the checkboxes, @ https://www.tmb.state.tx.us/idl/0E9238FB-9591-EF92-DC0E-DAA86C2F8AD6 , it's:

1) Graduate from a US/Canadian school OR

2) Graduate from a foreign school AND

One of:
A) be board certified
B) school is on the list
C) Z1-Z7 submitted

Since your school isn't on the list, you simply need to be boarded first or submit the Z-pack. You'll probably need to get licensed in another state first to take your boards, but most aren't quite as strict as Texas. Alternatively, you can have your old school fill out the Z-forms.
