New last updated date on TMDSAS!!!

Go to the TMDSAS and check out if there is a date change on when your application was last updated. Mine changed today. It says it was last updated on 1-22-04 and validated on 1-22-04😕

sounds like they've loaded all the match results into the system.

now we're just waiting for someone to pull back the curtain ...

where exactly did you see this. under preferences?? or somewhere else. did you send in transcripts recently or updates yourself.?

TMDSAS will be doing a "Validation" of courses on applicants that have interviewed at their indicated schools in order to generate a "Prescribed Course Report". The validation is a process where each course entered on the application is verified with the official transcript(s). ALL transcripts must be received in order for TMDSAS to conduct the validating of courses. The report that is generated, Prescribed Course Report, is a detailed report of the courses that TMDSAS codes as meeting the requirements for entrance. It will indicate if there are any deficiencies in course work. This report is then sent to the schools. The validation is the final step for an applicant to then matriculate, if accepted.

i'm thinking validation date may be a good thing.
why else would they waste time validating your courses with the official transcipt, unless you matched to a school.

make sense?

mine was validated before the schools sent their lists in though (on the 13th)

I said "validation update", but I should have said "last action".

I really think it's all done. Not positive that I matched, but the system has definitely decided what to do with me.

they probably need two weeks to route the acceptance lists back to the schools. if the schools send out acceptance letters, on the same day that the match is posted (feb 1), then the schools will need a few days (weeks!) to get the acceptance packages together

man, I would hate to be a dean of admissions. you'd spend the entire day of feb 1 listening to people's wrath. i'd call in sick.

my last action date was 1/9/04---before the 1/15/04 match.
ok this is hurting my brain now...i think we're just overanalyzing too much 🙂

It's in the "Applicant Profile" section, at the very top.

I haven't done anything myself, ie sent in any transcripts or updates.

Hmm I wonder what the different dates mean... I better stop thinking about it because I am starting to scare myself again...

I have a "Last Updated" date but not what you are calling a "validation date". Where is this "validation date" showing up? I've been out of school for over a year now so I my courses may have been already validated, right? Please help!

I've kicked a$$ at interviews (even if there's a stupid voice in my head that says otherwise, which of course is to be completely ignored), worked damn hard for years, and the admissions committee at <insert first choice school here> would be idiots not to see the perfect fit between me and their school. So now, I have <insert vikvaz's to-the-minute, something -izzle count here> days/mins/hours until I am going to log in again on the TMDSAS page and receive confirmation of this. Until then, any prior logging on to this page to view any said date or speculate wildly on probabilities that probably are nothing more than a computer-generated update is forbidden, as it will only promote premature heart attacks or death by stress-induced starvation."
