Medical schools and especially MD PHD programs, are not obligated to wait for your newer score. You got rejected on the basis of your earlier score.Hi,
I am applying to MDPhD programs.
I took the MCAT twice (08/01 - 511, 08/29 - 517).
I had submitted 9 secondaries before receiving my new MCAT score.
Should I contact those 9 programs?
Today, I was rejected from one of these programs. Is it okay to reach out and ask if my new score was being considered? This is 2-3 days after my new MCAT score was released.
Thank you.
They're not going to reopen your file just because you got a new score.
I believe that MCAT scores automatically get updated to schools
