Hi,

I am applying to MDPhD programs.
I took the MCAT twice (08/01 - 511, 08/29 - 517).
I had submitted 9 secondaries before receiving my new MCAT score.
Should I contact those 9 programs?
Today, I was rejected from one of these programs. Is it okay to reach out and ask if my new score was being considered? This is 2-3 days after my new MCAT score was released.

Thank you.
Medical schools and especially MD PHD programs, are not obligated to wait for your newer score. You got rejected on the basis of your earlier score.

They're not going to reopen your file just because you got a new score.

I believe that MCAT scores automatically get updated to schools

Thank you for your response Goro.

Would it hurt to send an update to programs (that I've already sent my secondary in to) regarding my new MCAT? I could also include a new publication but I was planning on sending that later on after an interview.
That’s quite a jump on MCAT. I would update so that they know regardless if they are going to reopen your file or not.
