Also diverging for another request: it would be great if you considered being able to search waitlisted AND accepted (instead of one or the other) for a specific school

Zuckerberg is worth billions. Not so much here.

There is no "Accepted, Withdraw" option because "Accepted" is a terminal disposition. You cannot withdraw your application after a decision has been rendered, you can only decline to attend.

I will look into the start date before June 1 to see if I can find where in the logic this check takes place.

I'll look into adding the two schools mentioned, as well.

There is no "Accepted, Withdraw" option because "Accepted" is a terminal disposition. You cannot withdraw your application after a decision has been rendered, you can only decline to attend.

Then there ought to be a declined option (or a matriculated option). Sometimes it is not clear where the applicant actually matriculated, and this is desired information by the customers.

I actually specifically left out a "matriculated" option because I didn't want to enable that sort of privacy compromise.

If you want to indicate on your profile where you matriculated you can do it in comments, but I don't know if I want it necessarily to be a searchable feature....

Since we are all volunteering information on the profile to help each other and future applicants, I don't think by adding the option of letting people choose to indicate where they declined their acceptance or matriculate will compromise their privacy. It's information people can choose to reveal or not, much like the interview dates and specific school applied. I have noticed people "withdraw" from schools they have been accepted to on the trackboard, but that information aren't reflected on the actual profiles.

And I also think searching by waitlist+acceptance is really helpful if that can be made a search option.

Srsly? It's MDApplicants.com. It is by definition a privacy compromise, that's why it is such a popular product.

I'm sure the providers and consumers can come to their own conclusions about what to reveal and what to keep private. I provide a hell of a lot of information on mine, yet I refuse to provide any dates. I have my reasons for that. Other folks refuse to provide their MCAT scores. To each their own.

I just think that "Accepted, Withdrew" or whatever you want to call it (you know what we all mean here) is a legitimate searchable category and could provide legitimately useful information for the consumers, should the providers choose to provide it.
