Hi everyone!
I graduated with a 2.92 GPA due to a terrible start during my undergrad. Picked up a few Fs during the first year due to drug addiction. There is a significant uphill pattern in my academic progress but I know this GPA is not good enough. For this reason, started looking at many different SMPs and came across the Southern California University of Health Sciences MSMS program that was right next door from my current location. I was accepted, a few months ago, to a new program that was officially regionally recognized last year. The program has no record besides the one year and one student out of 2 got accepted into a dental program. The curriculum is very science-heavy since it's an MSMS program and you can find the full list attached. I'm very worried that this program is way too young to replicate success. Would it be better to take some of the courses on this list at community college and save money? Is it better to wait a year and apply to more recognized master's programs? Any insight and recommendations are appreciated.
