new NCLEX format?

I've heard that they are changing the format of the nclex as of this year... I heard fill-ins and short answers in addition to the multiple choice section... EEK!

Has anyone else heard this? Is it TRUE?

They are making that change. I took the NCLEX-RN last year (06-03) and they were experimenting with fill in the blank short answer, and diagrams. They told us it was experimental and those questions would not be counted in our test.

I was hoping they woudl just be trying it out this year... 🙁
