Hi all,
I am new to this website and i was just wondering if you guys could give me some up to date aka 2010-2011 type of advice. I have used the search function and all i have found are the threads that relate to 2001-2008 at the latest. Times have changed.
I am a canadian student, with American DAT of 20/20/18. GPA as a 3rd year Biochemistry major is 3.4. Volunteering is around 200 hours at the emergency room, 150 hours at a brain injury rehabilitation institute working with stroke victims, been member and then elected as the vice president of the squash club at my university. shadowed 2 dentists for 50 hours. I know that i will have to apply to private schools ( used the search function). I am not sure what private schools are good or bad, which ones accept me as of 2011 with these marks.I got no clue as how this centralized application website for dental schools works....... I would appreciate it if you could give me some info/advice as most of you have way more experience than me.
Ps, going to dental school in canada is like going to the moon. close to impossible.
Thank you all very much
