The folks at Harvard and the New England Journal of Medicine put together an online journal for pre-meds called The Next Generation. They just put out their first issue and I think its worth browsing:

Mimi, thanks for posting this. I am more confused now, though, after reading the second article (by the Hopkins prof) on SCNT... anyone understand this?

I certainly hope you guys don't see The Next Generation as a competitor site - I'm pretty certain we're all seeking to aid a common cause, and we fortunately have the benefits of approaching from different angles. I'm glad to see that this is a site that encourages fellow premeds to share and help each other out.

On another note, we just put out our third issue on January 1, 2005. We're always looking for writers, particularly premeds and medical students who want to write short essays and Letters to the Editor about their experiences and perspectives.
