I assume you mean Pitt for undergrad cause I don't really know anything about the graduate/medical school. But I like it.....It's big tho and lots of people. I come from about 30 minutes away from here so I'm not really used to having people around me ALL THE TIME. But you get used to it and it is a real nice campus with lots of opportunities and different things to do. Are you going to be a transfer student or are you starting here in the spring semester?

No, it's a med school interview. Your description of the campus sounds good. Your post reminds me of my freshman year in college, 18 years ago. I left home (a small town in Wisconsin) and went off all by my lonesome to Boston. What an experience. I actually didn't handle the transition well at all, but you sure sound like you're on the right track. Good luck!

I just graduated from Pitt in April and am doing a post bacc. program at Drexel before med school. You'll have a blast there. Make sure to go to all the football games and get there early for tailgating. The cops are cool with underage drinking so have fun. Make sure to carry on the tradition of launching any and everything at opposing fans who have the gull to walk through the student parking lot. later!

It's so great to see all the young philosophers on this board!

You can be a non-science major and still be well prepared for med school. I studied hard and rocked the MCAT!

I graduated with a BA in philosophy and my only regret is that I didn't minor in bio or something (then I wouldn't be finishing my med school prerequisites now!)
