Hey guys,

I accidentally checked UCLA school of Dentistry's website and I came across their newly introduced programs for foreign-trained dentists...As it's stated the applicants unlike usual postgrad/residency applicants are required to pay tuition fee (no surprise of course 😉) and so far only 1 specialty, Ortho, is ADA-accredited...check it out here and hope new doors will open for us.

At the time of posting this thread, the website was down so I couldn't include the direct link...Sorry!

I know about orthoodontic residency program for international dentists in UCLA. I think it is a pretty good chance to study in the states and I wish I can get the opportunity. However, if you want to get into the program, you have to be rich because you must pay tuition fee worth $80,000 a year for 3 years.😡

would you get a license to practise in USA if you apply to this specific program? Can you take a loan if you are a green card holder? greetings

Dear Friends,

This is wonderful website, where we can get first hand information. But After going through so many posts I was wondering why can't, we start a clear thread for starters ,who is looking for basic first hand information. As soon as they stepin this wonderful country -"Land of Opportunities" with wonderful education & Work experience from their home countries .what are the opportunities they are getting .

I am not talking about those Doctors, we finished NBDE I or I & II. Lookingforward for Best Opportunities. We are talking about those Doctors who came to this country on their late age or fresh to this country but old to profession, but with big experiences in their home countries. There are pletny of them ,like this.., i am sure of it.Who just finished only TOEFL, looking forward for NBDE too. But the time is the factor at this point for 2012 Admissions So, please if any one knows

"Any POST GRAD PROGRAMS still available FOR FOREIGN TRAINED DENTISTS WITHOUT NBDE"-SCORES. (NO PASS & NO MATCH participations .Please kindly post here. Thatwill be great help for many.

NOTE: To practice Dentistry in any USA States you need to finish your NBDE I& II and regional Boards too.

First INFO From me,
