The Army Reserve just came out with a new recruiting program. They are now offering up to $250,000 total for loan repayment. You can get $40,000 each year of the program you sign up for.
The active duty does not have the same program. Active duty can offer $40,000 each year for up to 4 years if you didn't take HPSP. However, don't forget that there is the loan forgiveness act mentioned in another post that will wipe out any debt after 10 years of payments.
Because this Reserve program is new, there is not a lot of info out about it. Contact your nearest AMEDD health recruiter for more information www.healthcare.goarmy.com
