Im a Case 4th year, I have heard for years they are planning on starting a residency at UH but they never seem to get around to it, is this a more solid thing? I always thought they would have a hard time competing with the Metro/Cleveland Clinic Program. How do you beat the combo of the single Level 1 Trauma center and CCF with a single UH site?

Nope, no application yet. They're trying to hire a program director now. After that, the application will typically take a year. Add another year to that for the RRC to meet and review and you're looking at roughly 2007-ish. Nothing imminent but progress is certainly being made.
