Reminds me of my first time in retail. There's so much to learn and no one wants to bother showing you the basics. It's funny that the job of training techs lies on the manager but I always find the other techs getting the training dumped on them so they don't constantly have to pick up the slack. I never see rx managers make much of an effort to coordinate a tech's training. Get a notebook and write everything down. If someone shows you how to do something in 10 seconds when it's busy you better write it down otherwise you'll get the "I've showed him or her how to do that before" and then it looks bad on you. Write everything down and fine a nicer tech to explain it in more detail when it's slower.
