I did my anesthesia rotation at a community hospital where I mostly saw basic cases where patients either got basic epidurals, general - ET tube or LMA, or regional blocks.
Reading through the posts here, I'm reading about other methods of intubating or providing anesthesia. (e.g. fiberoptic, lightwands).
Are there any other new or relatively new technologies that are being used in the academic med centers that I should read about.
