I'm about to sign up for Interfolio to manage my LORs and was wondering how they, along with the schools, manage LORs if the school is not participating in Interfolio.
By that I mean: Assuming this list is up-to-date with all the schools participating in Interfolio (http://www.interfolio.com/about/clients/partners/Interfolio-MedicalSchoolReceivers.cfm), you will notice NYCOM (is that the only one?) is not on the list.
Instead, the website says:
Users are able to mail letters to schools not on this list
and
Interfolio will mail documents to schools not on this list.
While the NYCOM website says something like:
Pre-Professional evaluation letters should be completed and sent either directly to the college by the applicant's pre-professional committee or applicants may submit their evaluation letters using Virtual Evals.
... so what exactly does this mean? Does NYCOM (or any other school) not accept LORs from Interfolio, period? Even if I order the LOR through Interfolio to get sent via regular mail?
