Hi everyone! I was wondering, for those that have been accepted to medical school this cycle what unique experiences or qualities do you believe set you apart in your application? Congrats!! and TIA!
I believe my essays made a big difference and got 8 interviews and got 7 A's. I had mediocre GPA, low MCAT score and 1,000+ hours at a nursing home and some non clinical hours at soup kitchen. I got in last year though.

Schools have been looking more and more on challenges you had to face and how you overcame them. Looking back, you may already have a unique challenge that you have overcome 🙂
