Hi, I'm a 3rd year pre-dental student and i have a few questions about applying to schools. all i need is just my scores, recommendations, and applications right or is there more then this to better improve my chances of getting in?

thanks for any advice.

dental job/volunteering/shadowing. This shows that you know what you are getting into and why you want to pursue dentistry.

personal statement.. you should write this while your in school so you can have your english professors edit it.

There are writing resources available in school. The professors may not have the time or be willing to help people out in this.

my signature has a link in it for letters of intent or aadsas essays. they are good examples

Yeah don't underestimate the personal statement. It could potentially be your only chance to let the adcoms know who you are and what your all about. Shadowing, dental experience, volunteer work, research if you have time.
