Plan is to graduate med school this June and begin residency in July
Having a hard time of thinking a good new years resolution!
Any one have suggestions or thoughts?!

I like tangible goals. Last year I ran a Half Marathon and completed some local volunteer work.

I was thinking of some ideas/activities that I can continue into residency.

Thanks!

Moving to Allo as user is still a med student. Bear in mind that you will likely have far less time come July to do some things, and a less predictable schedule, depending on your field of choice.

How about New Year's Resolution to maintain some balance while getting through intern year? I think that is one of the hardest things to do...for example you could resolve to work out at least 3 times a week and do something with friends at least once every week or two. You could also make a more work/medical related resolution like you are going to read 20% of a textbook in your chosen specialty before starting residency. For example, you could get Harrison's Internal Medicine, or whatever textbook people read for pediatrics or general surgery, or whatever specialty you are doing...
