New York State Intern License from out of state school

Hi, I go to school in Virginia and currently a P1, but am from New York. I wanted to possible apply for internships over the summer in New York. However, it says on the website I have to complete my P1 year first to apply for an intern license. I was wondering if anyone know what the turn around time was on a New York Pharmacy Intern License if I had to wait till the end of my P1 year to apply?
