Hey everyone,

I couldn't find it on a quick search, so does anyone know how to complete NYU's secondary if your undergraduate was on the quarter system? 4 quarter units=2.7 semester units, so I need to put all 3 courses down, but there is only space for 2. So far I've sent a few emails, but no response (GWU gets a gold star for both taking into this into account by having enough spaces for everything but their English requirment and fast email response when I asked them) and I want to avoid a cross country long distance call.

yeah, this is really, really annoying. i just combined two classes of a three-quarter sequence into one line. it worked okay with abbreviations. i have no idea if they will like this, but i don't like their form. so there.

BUMP,

I'm sure that there were more then 2 people who had this problem. Anyone find out anything official from NYU?

I'm on the quarter system also, and I have yet to resolve this problem... some of the secondaries are annoyingly poor at dealing with this. You would have to imagine every year these schools get badgered over how someone a quarter system should fill out the damn forms. 😡

attach an extra sheet?

Hey there,

Just Submitted NYU and also on the Quarter system.

Here is the official NYU instruction for kids on the quarter system:

The Admissions Process

A: Enter two classes on one line. Use /s to separate courses or grades. Click the link below to access the AMCAS conversion system. http://www.aamc.org/students/amcas/conversionguide2006.pdf
