New York Vs. Miami for singles

BTW new york has a ton of chicks in it.. I grew up in miami and lived in ny.. both places have tons of hot chix

ive lived in both places,,, currently in miami beachyyyy.. but it depends
are you after the more, model type, in shape, who drives the best car, because you have a lot of competition in miami if you are.. the most models are here, guys and girls, but if you want a more intellectually laden singles, yoou are more likely to find them in NY...
that being said, there are a lot of hot bodies here, and u see them more

interesting article about some of the problems with Miami...among with some other nasty things, it's got one of the lowest average incomes and highest average home prices for major cities in the country...Lots of crime, corruption and poor planning, and schools are awful.
Personally I have visited often and have family there (I grew up in Chicago), and I like Miami a lot. If you do have money, and especially as a young single, it really is a lot of fun. But from the perspective of an entire city looking towards its future, Miami has a lot of issues to work out.

I think Miami girls are hotter, but my judgement is clouded by marriage and the fact that there are fewer articles of clothing on the girls in Miami at any given time of the year.

i know, and ihave lived in other coastal cities, where girls wear less, and still i have to chose the miami ones as hotter...

Ill chime back in. I went to HS at Miami Beach Sr High and lived in miami beach all but my sr yr of HS.
Bottom line miami chix are the absolute hottest.. the thing is the level on intellect is way limited. Chix in NYC are hot as well but quite a notch down but they tend to be more successful. If you want a pure trophy wife miami is probably a better fit, if you want a reasonably hot chick with a brain NYC has more of these.
Now both cities have a little bit of both of the other types but this is an accurate generalization.
Ill be in miami at the end of Jan visiting my folks.. should be a great time!

FWIW getting back to the whole miami is poor thing, the public schools are beyond terrible (I have tons of stories) but I believe 1/3 of the city lives at or below the national poverty line.. Not a good thing....
Oh and as far as housing prices much of that has been run up by foreigners. NYC (renters market) and LA are much more expensive even when adjusted for income.
IIRC only 4% of people in LA can afford the "Median" home price while in miami it is closer to 15-20%

In certain parts, you will have a hard time not knowing any Spanish..But if you are attending med school down here, you shouldn't have a problem. Both UM campuses are in affluent areas, which definitely cater to english speakers. Cost of living is high, rent will range from $1000 (normal 1/1) to near 2000 (3/2 apt/townhouse).
In regards to the female situation down here, it is probably the best in the country. I haven't been to NYC in a long time, but I can tell you we have more attractive girls than Cali (and most major cities!). The diverse population just creates a nice mixture of people (for ladies too, I guess).
In closing, Miami is not the Banana Republic most of the country thinks it is (except for the politics).
