I know there are 5000000 other threads out there similar to what im about to post so thanks in advance for even opening and double thanks to anyone who responds...

Here is my deal:
I have a Bachelors Degree in Media Communications
I have 2 semesters worth of pre-reqs to finish (done by spring 09)
I have pharmacy tech experience
I have 3 pharamacists (1 Manager/1 District Manager...if that matters/helps) eager to right letters
I have volunteer experience
I Have NOT taken/studied for the PCAT- I am about to register for October
I have NOT begun the application process whatsoever

Should I even consider applying for Fall 2009? I've looked at a bunch of schools and they seem to be ok with finishing the pre-reqs by spring
but I know its prob a long shot so my questions...
do you guys and gals think I have the slightest chance of getting in for Fall 2009? 😕😕

You are doing fine! No worries mon! You should e-submit your PharmCAS and get it out of the way so when your PCAT scores come in you will be all set.

If you have the resources, apply for next year by all means. Don't be scared!

thanks....

im not sure what schools yet... im flexble to move and i dont have a real preference to any... asfor my gpa im not quite positive... im going to be taking about 18 credits this fall semester and 18 more in the spring and the other classes where part of my bachelors that i finished 4 years ago... im confident i can get at least a 3.5 for the classes ill be taking though

Just for fun, you should make yourself a GPA spreadsheet. It helps a lot so you can keep your eye on the prize. I know this has been said in many other threads, but at the time you apply, you should have like 80 percent of your courses completed, and at least that many if not more of your science courses. Those are especially important at this time if you are taking the PCAT in october. Best of luck! You sound like you are on your way! 👍
