Hello.

I am a prepharm student/biology major, will be beginning my sophomore year this fall, but credit wise I am a year ahead, and I would really like to graduate and start pharmacy school a year early. I've laid out all my course requirements and see this is possible . For pharmacy school, I plan on going to a public state university, east coast. My top school is University of Maryland..and I also plan on applying to Howard University, as well as schools in VA and NY.

I've done some research, and I have several questions, but I am most concerned about the timeline of things..when to take the PCAT/which classes to complete before taking it, when to ask for letter of recommendations, when to apply, how much volunteering to do in the profession in terms of hours, etc. Also, would taking CLEP for Microecon and English composition be accepted by UMD as well as other schools?

I wish I had a more helpful advisor, then I wouldn't be asking all of this..I just want to plan enough ahead of time so everything goes the right way.

Thank you in advanced!
