Hi all. Recently have decided to try for ophtho. 255+ step 1. Unfortunately, I have passed medicine and psych (didn't study properly for shelves). 4 rotations are remaining. no ophtho pubs. Any tips going forward? Do I have a chance at matching?

Step score is excellent, but everything else is lacking. If you can improve your clinical grades for the other 4 courses and pump out some ophtho research you may have some pretty good odds. But continuing as is, with no changes would likely be lethal for ophthalmology.
