Hello,
I'm an intern located in Saudi Arabia, just had interviews with the hospitals for a residency in radiology.
Two hospitals carry accreditations, one with canadian accreditation, the other with american college of radiology accreditation only in CT. Of course, the hospitals have mandatory fellowships abroad (including the US and Canada).
Say a catastrophe happened, or I thought of moving to a more progressive country, or even teleradiology. Will those accreditation have any effect on working in the US/Canada (as in considered as having the american/canadian board) or are they just to the benefit of the hospital and would not benefit the resident.
TLDR:
Applying to residency in hospitals in saudi arabia with accreditations from us/canada, Will they help me having a job in the states or canada or are they just badges to show off with.
I really appreciate your help
Thank you
