Next Procedure after submitting appication to ADA for NBDE

Hi,

Its been almost 3 weeks since I submitted my online application for NBDE part 1, I have also asked the ECE to send a copy of my report.
The ADA haven't yet replied.

Those of you, who have already taken NBDE part 1, please tell me, how long they will take to reply and how will they reply and also please let me know how to fix the examination date. Basically I want to know whats the procedure after submitting the application to ADA.

i gather from the previous threads that it takes abt 3 weeks to be processed...i got a confirmation letter from ADA last week, after 3 weeks wait...I sent ECE certificate myself, which they accepted!!! I was told by ADA its not necessary that they need it directly from ECE, the only necessity is that it should be a true copy....U can give them a call & enquire abt the status of ur application...Once its processed, u can fix a convenient date by phone or via online...

I have another small doubt. Whom do we have to call to fix the date, prometric center or ADA. and do we have to fix the the date within a limited time span, if so whats the time limit from the day after our application is processed.

u have to call prometric center to fix ur exam date.u can fix an appointment within 12 months from the date of the letter u received.

I too sent online application just 5 days back, &just now called ADA ,whether i need to send my evaluation report also, to confirm my application? they said ,"yes ".so im gonna send my ece enclosed in an envelope of ece itself ,which is a sealed one,that was sent by ece only.along with my ece report papers.
i hope it works .could i send that sealed envelope of ece ,instead of the same report papers in a seperate envelope.please advice me if im going wrong.
Also,when i asked ,how many days it would take to confirm my application once they receive my ece report ,they said 1 week only 😕 so,how far thats possible .??!!!

Just wondering why didn't you asak ECE to send the report directly to ADA? As I understand that is the accepted procedure. It's all written on the ECE form and ADA instruction!! And if you have already done that why sending another report?

i m preparing for part1,earlier i applied for computer based but now i decided to fill out new application & to pay fee again .perhaps we can do better on paper based instead of computer based ,what do u think about this.

The reports about PBT and CBT are conflicting. But I am sure of 2 facts

1) NBDE I National average is 82. Most of these students who pursue 4 year DDS/DMD program take the paper based test. So you can deduce for yourself about the curve!

2) IF YOU CAN CORRECTLY ANSWER 75% QUESTIONS IN EACH SUBJECT (PART I) YOU BOUND TO SCORE 90+....PBT/CBT NOTHING MATTERS.

Just set your target higher.

do not loose hope.keep on studying with a hope from nyu.this time u will get really good score , i saw on some other thread about ANUG, u r thorough in ur preperation .though we have to do so much to be eligible here but never loose hope.

I am following Decks, Released papers and few unreleased papers. But i must say most of the questions of unreleased papers are repetitions from released papers!! Someone in this forum PM me to say that he got 80 just by studying decks and released papers.
