Hello all,

I was wondering if my next semester schedule (for first semester junior) seems to be workable?

Calc I (5 credits)
Genetics w/lab (4 credits)
Organic Chem I no lab (3 credits)
Human endocrinology (3 credits)
Possible TA (1 credit)

Additional:
Hopefully, I will also be working as a medical scribe for roughly 16 hours a week. I am taking calc and O chem a year later than a traditional pre med because I initially was not on a pre med track. Thus, I plan on taking the MCAT spring senior year then a gap year.

Does this seem doable?

Yes, 15 credits with only 1 lab is totally doable.

If you are strong in math you will be fine, otherwise drop the genetics lab to devote more time to study. If strong in math this semester sill be easy.

Depends what type of calculus OP’s in. If it’s more applications of calculus, then it’s going to be fairly simple. Applications of calculus I applies techniques learned from figuring out the derivative implicitly and explicitly to real world scenarios..
