The amounts used to be $30,000 for 3rd & 4th years (maybe even 5th) & $20,000 every following year until debt was paid off. For those of us with significant debt, this was a real attractive, tax-free option.
The new amounts of $20K & $10K respectively have me less incentivized to go beyond four years. (I'm just beginning year #3). I wonder if old NHSC LRP recipients are grandfathered in to the old amounts?
