Has anyone done an elective at the Warren Magnuson Hospital on the NIH campus in Bethesda Maryland? I'm applying for a 4 week elective next year and need some additional info from students who may have rotated on a specific service there (ID, Heme, Endo, Path, ICU). Specifically, daily routine, expectations, attending's attitudes, hands-on time, research conferences, laboratory time/exposure, housing (proximity to Metro/No. VA). How competitive is it at getting a spot? Thanks!
