weirdly, I do. Salary is Low (think Harvard med low if not worse). Starting salary is 79K-110K depending on a bunch (<100K for an BC-IM MD-PhD attending!). A very few docs get paid almost 200K there but they are WORLD class (ie: could be dean of medical school, head of department anywhere else).

Supply and demand sucks. As long as they continue to get talented people willing to work for this kind of money....

Well that is bad, but its seems about avg. for academic med.

I was told that the attendings are only paid by the NIH grant money and are not on salary at one interview I had for fellowship.
