NMR question in TBR

I am confused about how TBR shows NMR spectra in one of the passages. TBR Organic section 2 (structure elucidation) passage 7 (page 156 in my version). Why does it show 5 H peak as one peak in compound 1... I don't think all 5 H are equivalent? Confused

The compound 1 structure is shown in question 44.

You are probably right... these 5H are not equivalent...It's more like, 2H, 2H, 1H to me. May be someone else who has TBR can chime on that.
