Yeah, I am a current resident at St John, and senior residents do 17 9 or 10 hour shifts per calendar month, and 2nd years do 19 per calendar month. Not sure when it changed but no one I have talked to ever mentioned doing that many shifts.

20 12’s? As a 3rd year?!! My goodness. My pgy1s work 20 9’s. Thats 60 less hours a month. No way would I want to end up at a program with 20 12s as a PGy1, let alone a PGY3.
