Right, so no II's yet.

AACOMAS doesn't consider math in our sGPA, it dropped. Also, they didn't consider some of my psychology/biology courses as science either, so up until my winter courses, I had no sGPA senior year. Should I update AACOMAS with my spring and summer grades which include science courses? Is this a concern?

Thanks!

AACOMAS doesn't consider math in our sGPA so mine went from 3.47 to 3.19. Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.

Yes, you do need to update your app, and applying without those recent grades was foolish.

Sure it wasn't ideal, but if I waited I would have delayed my application by at least two months. I don't mind the waiting, I just wanted to know if that might be a factor.

MCAT and of course other activities could play role in this. Plus, myself being included, it is very easy to get antsy early in the cycle. Only half way through August. Your time is coming!

Relax, it's only mid-august, if you have no II's by thanksgiving, then you should really start to consider a backup plan. Also, yes update your app with new grades (if they increase your GPA)

Math will not be counted in sGPA but biology course will. Why don't you call AACOMAS and asked them to fix it?

sGPA so mine went from 3.47 to 3.19.
This is probably the main issue so i wouldn't expect you to get IIs with the first pool of applications. The senior GPA will probably help get you over to the II stage.

I just wanted to make sure. You received the "your application is complete" email from these schools right?

Lower GPA than yours, got a couple IIs, MD and DO. If I were you 1. definitely be patient as everyone else has said, without having too high of expectations with our low GPAs 2. I would add like 10 more DO schools. 45 MDs?!?!?! Jesus H, Best of luck! Just be patient
