No interview invite, is there anything I can do?

I consider SLU to be my top choice and would like to have a chance to interview there. My file was complete in September and I sent a letter of interest in January. Though I have been accepted elsewhere, I would really like to stay in St. Louis.

So the questions is . . . is there anything else I can do? I don't want to appear desparate, because I certainly do not feel that way. Any ideas?
