It's been over a month since I got a call from Nova saying they were about to review my file; however, my letters of rec (including DO letter) haven't been sent yet (still waiting on my committee letter). Even though there have been two batches of interview invites, I still haven't heard anything from Nova.

Stats: 29mcat (9bs, 11vr, 9ps), 3.75 - 3.8cpga, 3.85 - 3.9sgpa at a top10 ugrad, lots of EC's

I heard that Nova sends II's even when they don't have all your letters. Should I be worried that my app has a red flag I don't know about?

thanks

Don't panic it's still early. That being said this process is a crapshoot and its not healthy for you to put all your eggs in one basket.

Don't expect most schools to even consider you until you send out your LORs.

I understand. What about the other schools like Nova that apparently do consider you?

Confuscious says: Bad luck and statistics befalls those who rely on small numbers.

But seriously, NSU may out right reject as they do plenty of qualified applicants. Don't be discouraged over not getting a II from one school.

Name of the game is patience.

Give them a call. If they say a decision has been made then panic.

as far as i know from my cycle last year, nova doesnt reject or make decisions on your file. they rereview them throughout the year
