No interviews, should I apply to more?

Hey, so I've only received one interview and that was my in state school. It's starting to look like a rejection is headed my way. I applied and everything was sent out September 2nd, haven't heard back from any other schools yet (bu, nyu, lecom, tufts, Louisville, vcu) and am getting worried. Is it too late to add other schools to increase chances? I am worried because my stats aren't great, was thinking if i lost my shot this year I may just have to continue on and try to boost stats my last semester of college but it may not be enough to make a huge difference. 3.4gpa, 3.33sgpa, 20aa, 22ts, 19pa. A good number of ec, lots of shadowing (200hrs). All my C's came from a very upsetting semester so that may be the most hurtful thing on my app. Kinda discouraged and was hoping for some advice. Thanks all.

I'll bet you'll get some interviews, it's a waiting game. Applying this late might not be the best idea.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I know its probably late. Hopefully I will hear back. Just worried since I feel like my chances are cut nearly in half after December 1st.

Ya I wouldn't add on more schools this round just because its so late in the game that they may never get to your app. At least some of those schools BU tufts NYU do a lot of post dec interviews with people that do get in! Hang in there!

does it seem normal to not have an interview by now with the September 2ND mail out, though I know it is very late. I scored 16qr and I was thinking I may get a few rejections from that.

Most schools will allow a lower QR score just because it is the least important section to them ~ so you may be okay with that score since your overall aa and ts are still good! I know if Tufts is interested in you and if you do have some flaws in either your DAT or gpa - you could possibly get an email asking you to retake the DAT for them or turn in fall grades. I wouldn't worry too much just yet...There will be more interviews handed out post dec 1st when students who are already accepted turn down their spots! I think the time to worry would be more towards end of feb-march. It's still early for someone especially that applied in september 🙂

your sGPA is very low. You have to boost it up. I was accepted with a 3.4 overall gpa, but my sGPA was a 3.6 and BCP was a 3.7. Take a masters degree to boost it up or some post-bacc classes (if you can find some that you dont have.) Applying to more schools this late in the game, wont get your anything.
