complete for most schools since mid august.

I've got a 3.44 cgpa with an upward trend and a 510 mcat. I have a DO rec letter , plenty of volunteer experience, and research. I applied to 7 DO schools and have not received an interview yet to any. Should I be worried?

Should I add more schools? Should I be worried with my current list and stats?

Patience is a virtue, the need for Instant application is not. Schools stratify applications when they come in and do not sort them in chronological order

It is still early. Throw in some more primaries/secondaries to safer,newer (not proven!?! ) schools if it makes you feel better. However, you do seem to be competitive for all the schools listed. So, patience seems to be the name of the season for now.

I would consider adding; ACOM, CUSOM, PNWU, and KCU.

SGPA is a 3.37-3.4 I think, havent done the calculation in a while. The only other clinical experience I have is shadowing 4 doctors(one DO) across different specialties for around 100 hours.

Your stats are fine! Maybe your lacking a bit of clinical experience? Have you considered getting a job as a medical scribe or a nursing aid ? I would say consider adding the schools above but you should be landing something from your list at some point.

I don't want DO schools to think I'm careless or that I simply copy and pasted my AMCAS statement, which I didn't. How badly is this going to affect me?

If we are being honest they don’t read most thoroughly. Just enough to get an idea of who you are. Like above, if it’s only a sentence or two of closure then I’m sure you are fine.
