I was looking over the bulletin of marquette and found our summers are not off! plus only 1 week during the winter off. we end classes in may have a break for aweek and then start summer school. I feel like I have to plan anything I really want to do now before school starts cause i wont have the time or the money to do so during the next 4 years!! any other dental have the same thing? or actually have summers off?

We get 2 weeks off for christmas pretty much and then 8 weeks off for our first summer ... After that we get 4 weeks the next summer and then 3 weeks the final summer.

But they don't leave much time in there to just lounge around like in undergrad

My D1 year we had 2 weeks off for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks off for Christmas, 1 week off for Spring break, and then all the various holidays that offer a single day off.

This year, however, we only had 1 week for Thanksgiving, still 2 weeks for Christmas, and we'll still get 1 for spring break.

Our summer breaks are always 4 weeks long. The summer between my D1 and D2 year wasn't much of a break, due to the NBDE I being smack dab in the middle of it. In reality, after studying and taking the exam, we all only got 2 weeks off.
