Well...just a random bit of news from my side..
for those of you that may know or not know I am currently back in Pakistan for my wedding...and yesterday we officially got married(yes,she's the one in the picture)...contractually that is...we signed our "nikah nama" for those of you who know what that is...my actual wedding function dates are this thursday, saturday, and sunday...so we've had dinners and dohlki's and all that stuff that comes with these events for the last week and I still have another week to go, and man am I exhausted!!

That is the reason I havent' been very active on the boards as of late so just wanted to let everyone know...i'll be back in the states around mid april probably...

So ladies, I'm sorry to break all your hearts, but I'm officially taken now 😉 😀

Hey Elto, the wedding ceremonies in India and Pakistan are actually quite fun and very festive. The 3 days that Khurram is talking about are the main occasions like the Mehndi, the Shaadi [actual wedding day], and the Valima [a dinner reception thrown by the groom's side]. The nikah nama is the official paper that the couple signs to be wedded. There's a lot of fun in all the 3 days, but everyone's fave is the Mehndi where everyone sings wedding songs and dances. And, especially for the bride and groom's friends, the whole idea is to have funn! hahaha! Look at me go on about it. Thats coz I've always had the most fun in weddings back home, which is also why I'm always waiting for someone or the other to get married! 😀 hahaha!

Thanks for explaining the wedding days and functions and I'll post pics on my photoblog once all the events are over...tonight is the mehndi so that's gonna be a lot of fun, although with 850 people coming, it's gonna be hectic as hell! thank god i'm the groom and I get to chill and not doing anyting besides have fun 😎

Yeah, i'm so glad that I got into nyu right before coming for my wedding, otherwise, the thought of what the hell am I gonna do if i dont get in after my wedding was gonna loom over my mind during the event which would have sucked big time...
