I just called my test center and asked about the eraser, and representative said they changed their policy and they are not offering erasers anymore. They said we can only start with 2 sheets and can get more sheets if we raise our hand during the test.......
Is this true...? Do we have to waste our test time to ask more sheets just because we don't have an eraser?

Have anyone who took recently had this experience.................?:scared:

Unless their policy has changed in the last 7 days they should be providing you with erasers. Honestly though with dry erase markers, you can use your hand and be fine, you'll just come out a bit grimy.

The eraser actually slowed me down because it was a little difficult for me to get the marker stain off.. Some people suggest wearing a loose sweater (that you don't care about) and using the sleeves to wipe.

This policy was in place when I took the DAT. It is not bad, they walk through quite a bit. when one filled up I held it up while writing on the other. No problem, quick changes.

Paper is much better than dry erase board anyway. You can write so much more and not worry about erasing work on a problem that you may have to skip and return to later. And no worries about the marker drying out, it being too thick tipped, etc. I hope my test center will have made the switch by then.

omg paper is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope they do this. 15 hole punching HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe this is a recent change. I took the DAT 6/30 and they also provided me only two sheets and an "erasable" ballpoint marker.

It's really no big deal. Practice with a dry erase and board, but test day you will know what to expect.

Also, the proctors are pretty quick on coming to your aide. All you got to do is raise your pink sheet and they will replace it quickly for you. There is no getting up to ask them as they are usually quick about this, but you can go to them and ask if they do not see this (I did not have a problem with this however).

I still have eraser today. eraser sucks tho. but they also provide wet wipes. ask for extra cause they dry out fast.

I would suggest calling your Prometric in advance and asking them about the markers/scrap paper.

Probably not a bad idea to purchase the exact brand and thickness of the markers and use them for practice.

Also, ask about the air conditioning.
