I was taking this one class and i realized i couldnt do well on this class

so i tried to drop this class, but the deadline was already passed

the only option i had was Pass or NoPass grading system

instead of studying for this class i focused well on other classes and all pulled high grades

but this course i ended up not-passing

i think it will be showing up on my transcript as NP (No pass)

will this hurt me a lot??

I reckon you got some explainin to do for that there no pass.

Yeah it was not the class i supposed to take(registered due to misunderstanding), so i tried to drop it, but the deadline to drop (10days) had been passed, so only option i could do was to change to p/np...

Own up to your mistake and vow never to repeat it. Clearly it doesn't look good, but it's not going to kill your application so long as you don't make it a habit.

i think it would hurt you if u are just taking 12~13credits and applying this year, but if you are taking more than 17credits
i think you should be fine..
