I am a third year student thinking about radiology. I inquired with my radiology department about the possibility of doing research. I was told that it would be more worthwhile to focus all my time to my third year clerkships and get good LORs rather than get involved in research.
I have strong pre-clinical grades, good step 1, rad-onc research, but was wondering if applying to radiology without any radiology research would hurt my chances of matching at higher tier programs.
