3rd year student here interested in EM. I'm planning on doing 2 away rotations this summer- 1 in EM and another in a non-EM specialty. Are there any downsides to doing this? What are some good non-EM electives to check out?

Check out whatever electives you think would be valuable to your future career and that you would enjoy doing for a few weeks to a month. If you want to do EM, rotations such as ICU, ultrasound, radiology, anesthesia, etc. would all be beneficial.
