Hi, I got LORs from profs. for a masters program (a special masters program that helps you get into med school) Is it a problem if i use them for med school applications? Do i need to change the headings or do adcoms realize that its the letter that counts not necessarily who it is addressed to? I would have to track down each prof. to change the headings which would be a pain in the butt for me and them.

thanks

As much a pain in the butt as not getting into school?

You need to have them readdressed. It is best to have them addressed to no one (e.g. "To whom it may concern," "recommend highly for your program") so that you can store them with your pre-med advisor or credential service (Interfolio.com or career services office at college) and then you will be able to use them at any time in the future for whatever you apply for.

very true i will go ahead and do so

thanks
