Hey guys

So I am a Kentucky resident.

Would I be still considered a resident if I wanna go to like Indiana or SIU dental school since KY is close?

cuz I know some schools do that.

non resident tuitions are crazy $60,000!!!!

how can u pay that!

no. out of state means out of state. you will not get in-state tuition if you do not live in illinois or indiana.

however, some schools will switch you to in-state when you move there for school after 1 year. not sure which schools do that though

SIU OOS is $100k per year. You would be considered OOS as a non-Illinois resident, p rolly shouldn't bother applying as they accept like 1 OOS each year. I don't know about Indiana though, Ohio state is sort of OOS friendly

Jeez 100k per year. r u serious how do u freaking afford that kinda money

That is just insane

Well then I guess my only options are UK and Louisville.

I know people say apply as much as I want, but my parents can't afford freaking 100k per year.

insane

Yea it's pretty ridiculous. I'm pretty sure OOS at siu is still #1 price of all dental schools

UConn is one of those schools. But I also think it really depends on the state laws and requirements for becoming a citizen. For example, in CT you only need to change your drivers license over and apply for citizenship after 1 year of res., but in PA you have to work full-time for so long (impossible in D school..), apply for a drivers license, etc.
at least, that is how i think it goes
