non-rolling admission

Does it matter whether or not you get your app in early to a non-rolling school like Yale because I figured it did not and have been putting it off in lieu of other apps. Also I just realized that I have been writing in my essays that i want to be a pediatric neurologist and also say I want to be a primary care physician. I just figured out that a pediatric neurologist is not classified as a primary care physician. Is it even close or am I going to look like an idiot?

Not screwed. Just correct it on the ones you still need to send out. If your stats are right, you will prolly still get an interview even with the mistake.
