I'm filling out the AMCAS now and am starting to freak out a bit and need some reassurance.

My non-science letter was written by a psychology graduate student who I took a course with (Health Psychology) and worked with in a research lab for a year. The letter was co-signed by the faculty adviser in charge of the lab (a psychology PhD).

A lot of the applications state the non-science faculty letter must be from "someone who taught you in a course" (which the grad student did teach me and can comment on my classroom ability...and the letter was cosigned by a PhD) and some just state it must be from a non-science faculty member in general. I asked my pre-med adviser and he said it was completely fine and medical schools really aren't as picky as they seem, "they just like to see that a PhD signed and that the letter is positive" essentially. Should I be alright with this letter for those schools stating it must be from someone who taught me?
