So I'm an engineering major, and I know engineering classes are usually not BCPM. Therefore, would I be able to get a "non - science" LOR from an engineering professor?

Essentially I'm asking if non-science in this context means non-BCPM or not science at all.

The BCPM system is solely for AMCAS to calculate GPA. Each medical school will judge science/non-science for themselves. Some schools, like CRWU have formal policies that engineering is science while botany and ecology are not. Other schools will take engineering and math as non-science. So I suggest you get a "traditional" nonscience letter, even if it short, in addition to the engineering letter. Else your application could been seen as incomplete
Understood, thanks!
