I graduated with a B.S. in 2007, but slacked off a few semesters and ended up with a 2.4ish gpa. I have been back in school for the past 2 years getting my prereqs for vet school knowing that I would be interested in applying to a DPT program if that didn't pan out. My prereq gpa is around 3.4 and my last 45 credits is about that as well. My first GRE score was a 1070 with a 4.5 on the written portion, but I plan to take it again this summer. Before I would go any further down this route, I want to know if I would even have a shot. After looking at DPT programs in my area, they all seem to have a 3.0 overall GPA cutoff. Does the same poilcy stand true for nontraditional students who have shown a significant upward trend? I'm wondering if they will even look at my application, or if they will see my overall gpa and not even consider me. Thanks!

Check out the Sticky Thread with acceptances. It depends on the schools you want to apply to, but it is possible. What is your cum GPA?

I have noticed that others with a low Cum GPA, but strong GRE score are able to get into a few programs.
