And for those of you who DO NOT know what a non-traditional is ... the easiest way to describe it is a person applying to med school who has been out of school awhile and usually who wasn't premed in college (career changers!). But we come from all walks of life, some science, some not, some took the wayward path with other jobs and now want medicine, some this is their life long persuit but are changing venue by becoming a physician. We have people from 23 through 99!! So stop on by and say HELLO!!! We're here to help, not bite 😀

I spoke UMass today and they waited until today to complete my secondary, which I submitted a month ago. I'm a non-traditional student and they accidentally thought that I was going to send them a pre-med package from my undergrad too, which I'm not. I'm only sending them one from my post-bacc program.

It's not a huge deal, but it delayed things a month and they didn't even notify me that they thought something was missing. If I didn't call to check in this morning, I'd still be staring at my phone, waiting for it to ring.
